7 Queen s Gate Place, along with the other building s in Queen s Gate, were built in the 1860 s as large family residences in an Italianate style and even though much re-building of the area has taken place, the expansive and expensive Victorian atmosphere remains. Queen s Gate is located in the heart of South Kensington and is a stones throw away from Hyde Park. The property is within walking distance of Harrods and Harvey Nichols amidst the great landmarks of the Royal Albert Hall, the Natural History and Science Museum and the Victoria & Albert Museum. Previous page The reception room features vast proportions and abundance of natural light through French doors that look out on to the front balcony. The central black granite breakfast bar is suited for informal dining with grey and anthracite bar stools and an integrated television.

12 Far left This stunning restored staircase has been transformed, with the original features integrated and beautifully featured. The polished plastered walls and creative lighting form a distinctive shadow of the historical balustrade. The silver leaf antique mirror enhances the staircase for open landings. Left Burr walnut is rich is texture and colour for a bold, masculine room that creates a distinct and characteristic Cigar room. Bespoke black nickel profiles outline the burr walnut panels and frame the fireplace that is set in black granite. Located off the reception room, the Cigar Room is exceptionally furnished with a revolving bar cabinet. Above The Loewe 55 HD television or 110 projector screen can be enjoyed from reclining leather seats complemented by a full surround sound in the Media room. Automated blackout sliding shutters create the ultimate cinematic experience. 19 Italian stone has been carefully selected for a vibrant design scheme to unite guest bedroom five and en-suite. Featuring fabric panelling and polished plaster, the concept is individual from the rest of house with a mixture of complimentary blue tones and materials. The generous proportions for a guest suite allow for a built-in wardrobe, freestanding furniture and a fully equipped bathroom. AV equipment is incorporated into the design without hindering the finishes.

21 Above Specialist lighting techniques accentuate the en-suite which carries the same masculine feel as the suites bedroom. A large shower with multi-functions is concealed with a bespoke Armani Roca shower screen. Right A rich and masculine palette of grey, smoked cherry wood and brass prevails in the fourth bedroom. Dark timbers have been balanced with polished plaster and white lampshades. The design is focused on the Rubelli fabric from the Armani Casa collection to unite the furnishings. AV is once again built-in and disguised with a magic mirror.

24 Left and above Natural woven wallpaper distinguishes suite three, applied to replicate panelling, the various textures and warm tones have an alluring charm. The colour palette has been kept neutral to ensure an adaptable guest bedroom, with gold leaf and gloss maple furniture to enhance sophistication. The high ceilings and a walk in shoe cupboard complete the design. Above right The guest shower room has been designed with floor to ceiling glass laminated veneer panels, the green ash TABU has a defined grain, a prominent aspect to this unusual natural material. Outlined with polished chrome profiles, the colour palette is reflected in the Armani Roca mirror with integrated light for a dazzling en-suite.

Featuring two emotional showers and a steam room that is divided by a reflective glass door, the spas atmosphere is emphasised by specialist lighting. The spa is conveniently situated next to the gymnasium and changing area that is home to state of the art Technogym equipment for private exercise fitted with air-conditioning, storage space and HD television integrated into a magic mirror for multifunction.
