School Road Peculiar, MO RFP Documents Issued: May 16, 2017 This Addendum includes these 3 pages and the following attachments: - Pre-Bid Meeting Sign In Sheet - Revised Fire Alarm Testing Matrix Addendum B - Drawings for Each School with Location of Fire Alarm Intrusion Equipment Questions Submitted from Prospective Contractors: I was informed by Don Seitter that Shull is being remodeled and a new fire system installed. It is very difficult to price this school into the mix without knowledge of equipment types/counts being installed. o RESPONSE: Appendix B shows modifications to the counts for Shull Elementary. Under OPTION 2, pricing for inspections, are we to list just the price for 2018 and then you are applying a +/- 3% for years 2019, 2020, 2021? OR, are we to list the total combined inspection cost for and mention if we increased or decreased 3% each year? o RESPONSE: Option 2 is the price for test and inspection for year Prospective Contractors are to provide percentage increase/decrease of the 2018 price for years Sensitivity testing is a requirement per NFPA 72. There are options to this. Would it be best to submit my bid showing where I added sensitivity testing for which year(s)? Perhaps not do sensitivity in year one and then do 100% in year 2? o RESPONSE: At this time, Ray-Pec is interested in only Annual Test and Inspection of the fire alarm systems. Sensitivity testing will be addressed via change order after contract is awarded. Modifications to RFP: Section 3 Project Completion Date: o Project Completion Date has changed from July 31, 2018 to August 14 th, This completion date is for the Base Bid of the RFP. Section 18.a Working Hours o Working hours between July 1-August 14 th have been changed from 6am-8pm to 6:30am to 6:30pm. Section 21.a: o Change cable color from White to Red Request For Proposals ADDENDUM 1 v. May 16,

Appendix A has been removed. Appendix B has been modified: o Appendix B is to be used to provide cost for Fire Alarm Test and Inspection Services. o Buildings that have a * next to the name of the building are NOT to be included in the Test and Inspection Services for o Fire Alarm device counts have been added to the High School o Fire Alarm device counts modified for Shull Elementary School o Fire Alarm notification devices for the High School and Shull Elementary for Speakers and Speaker Strobes rather than strobes and horn strobes.
