5 Important Notices for Exhibitors All judging of flowers, fruit and vegetables will be according to RHS guidelines Closing date for entries is Wednesday 27 th September entries received after this date cannot be accepted Exhibitors may only enter one entry per class Exhibitors may stage their entries on Thursday 5 th October between 2pm 6pm and on Friday 6 th October between 7am 5.45pm. Judging will commence at 6pm on Friday 6 th October (exhibitors to vacate the hall by 5.45pm please) The heaviest and longest fruit and vegetable classes will be judged on Saturday 7 th October at 11am Entries are to be taken home between 5pm and 6pm on Sunday 8 th October please don t take them before then Prize Certificates will be awarded to 1 st, 2 nd, 3 rd and Commended awards Prize Money will only be awarded for 1 st place, unless otherwise specified The Kit Robert and Children s Cake Classes will be awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd place instead of prize money kindly donated by Channel Island Engravers. The Children s medals and trophies will be presented at 4pm on Sunday 8 th October winners will be contacted if they have something to receive The Adult s Prizegiving will be at the Society Lunch, on 10 th December at Greenhills tickets available from the Office from November. EXHIBITORS MUST BE MEMBERS OF THE SOCIETY, 10 YEARS OF AGE OR OVER, EXCEPT IN CLASSES WHERE OTHERWISE DEFINED I.E. OPEN CLASSES OR SHOWS. 2. IF THEY WISH TO BE PROVIDED WITH SCHEDULES AND ENTRY FORMS EXHIBITORS MUST SPECIFICALLY ASK TO BE GIVEN COPIES OF THE SAME. 3.
