These assessments represent a snapshot in time, during June of 07. Each school site s assessment begins with a report representing the state of each school site at the time of the school site survey. The Facility Condition Assessment includes representative photographs showing the existing conditions at each school site. Each site s Facility Condition Assessment is comprised of: School Information Includes information about the school facility such as address, year constructed/modernized, site size, and modular classroom counts. Principal Priorities Each principal was asked to provide his/her top three priorities for the school. These vary from maintenance items to transformative changes to facilities to better help the implementation of current or desired programs. Program Support Needs I wish I had... This represents comments that were heard during Principal and other stakeholder engagements regarding a perceived disconnect between programs or functions and the facilities they are housed within. Functionality of Space How space is used today This section documents notable uses of spaces, where the facility used may not be ideal for the use it houses. Condition Assessment Includes a description of building and grounds concerns identified by District Facilities and Maintenance staff, the survey completed by the Principal, and LPA s observations during the site visits. Interior and Exterior Photographs Includes representative photographs of the facility and site during LPA s site observation in June of 07. Existing Site Plan Diagram(s) Indicates existing building placement, hardscape and landscaped areas. In addition, the existing site diagram locates relevant program spaces, adjacencies and current uses.
3 WAGNE ANCH NATE AEA 30 Camino Pablo fwrna.org Site Acreage: 8 acres The Wagner anch Nature Area sits adjacent to Wagner anch Elementary School. The land has been left mostly unimproved, with minor structures such as shade shelters and storage sheds. The Friends of Wagner anch Nature Area committee are the primary caretakers and fund-raisers of the land. They host educational programs related to nature and the traditions and history of the indigenous people of the area. Ideas for Improvement emoval of poison oak ADA-accessibility estrooms Welcome center Indoor classroom(s) with access to the exterior The envision this area as a regional destination, possibly with a visitor s center. To enhance usability, the District would like to provide ADA-accessibility and remove poison oak to the extent appropriate.
