Structural Eurocode systematic reviews Adoption of Structural Eurocodes in the UK Building Regulations, and by the Highways Agency and Network Rail, means that the basis for structural and geotechnical design within the UK has now shifted from withdrawn British Standards to European standards. Publication of the Eurocodes started in 2002 and was completed in 2006, with full implementation by CEN members in The process of reviewing the Eurocodes, with the aim of producing improvements, has started. The CEN systematic review process provides all interested parties with an opportunity to comment on the current provisions for the express purpose of identifying where, and in what form, modifications are most needed. 9 Introducing the revised BS 4142 Methods for rating and assessing industrial and commercial sound Noise can be a serious issue for many people across the UK.
