Seven Oaks School Division (Maples Collegiate) Installed a floor using rubber paving as well as rubberized mats in another section of the school. Winnipeg School Division (Wolseley School) Resurfaced pathways using rubber paving. Lord Selkirk School Division (Lord Selkirk Regional Comprehensive Secondary School) Resurfacing the lower track, weights area, plyometrics area & jump area with pour-in-place rubber paving. Winnipeg School Division (Isaac Newton School) Installed mats for gym flooring. Winnipeg Soccer Federation Winnipeg Soccer Complex (Waverly) Resurfaced inside building, hallways, dressing rooms, and official rooms with pour-in-place rubber. Lakeshore School Division (Ashern Central School) Installed recycled rubber paving on pathways and recycled rubber mulch in the garden beds. Treherne Elementary School Installed recycled rubber paving on a playground Rossburn Collegiate Installed recycled rubber paving on front sidewalk. Ecole Bonaventure, Selkirk Installed recycled rubber mats for play/marshaling pad. Virden Collegiate Institute Installed recycled rubber mulch to create raised garden beds and recycled rubber paving on pathways. R. Winnipeg Soccer Federation - Shaugnessy Park Refurbish existing grass field by installing a new synthetic soccer field with recycled crumb rubber. Huron Child Care Inc., Winnipeg Installed pour-in-place rubber paving for a play area. Austin Elementary School Installed recycled rubber mulch on the playground.

Installed pour-in-place rubber paving for a rock climbing wall, set of swings, and outdoor fitness stations at their Outdoor Fitness Centre and Playground. Carman District Legion Housing Foundation, Inc. Installed pour-in-place rubber paving on a sidewalk leading to the Carman Legion Lodge. St. Norbert Foundation, Inc. Installed recycled rubber parking curbs in their north parking lot. Starting Blocks, Inc., Stonewall Installed pour-in-place rubber paving on a backyard playground area. Grosvenor School Association, Winnipeg Installed pour-in-place rubber paving on an outdoor pitch. Fort Richmond Collegiate, Winnipeg Installed pour-in-place rubber paving on an outdoor play pad area. Centennial Community Club Inc., Portage la Prairie Installed rubber mat flooring in the workout area and dressing rooms of the community club. Tiny Turtle Playroom Inc., Boissevain Installed rubber matting on a playground bike path. St. Germain Day Care Centre Inc., Winnipeg Installed pour-in-place rubber paving for a play area as well as a bike path around the playground area. Brandon University Installed rubber flooring made from recycled tires in their Healthy Living Centre s Training Room. Town of Rossburn Installed pour-in-place rubber paving on the steps and walking paths leading to the side and main entrances of the Town Hall. Winnipeg Harvest Installed pour-in-place rubber paving, recycled tire sidewalk blocks, stepping stones and recycled tire rubber mulch along their Community Garden Walkway.

Centennial Community Club Inc., Portage la Prairie HALLWAY AND DRYLAND EXERCISE AREA FLOORING PROJECT Installed rubber matting in the hallways leading to the ice and in the exercise area. Portage Regional Recreation Authority Inc., Portage la Prairie PLAYER BENCH MATS PROJECT Installation of rubber mats in the player bench and penalty box areas in two arenas.

SAFETY MATS PROJECT Installed floor mats made from recycled tire material to cover exposed hoses and electrical cords on the streets within the festival site Starting Blocks Inc., Stonewall PLAYGROUND BIKE PATH FOR KIDS Installed pour-in-place rubber surfacing as a bike path for children. Town of Rossburn ROSSBURN FITNESS CENTRE Installed floor mats made from recycled tire material to cover a 1,557 ft. area of a new fitness centre. Rural Municipality of Glenella RUBBERIZE GLENELLA ARENA COMPLEX Installed rubber mats made from recycled tire material in the hallways, dressing rooms and common area on the skating rink side of the arena complex. Rural Municipality of Glenella RAY STREET SIDEWALK PROJECT Replaced concrete sidewalk on Ray Street with rubber sidewalk blocks made from recycled tire material. Kelchris Inc., Virden RUBBER MAT FOR RAMP PROJECT Provide homes for adults with intellectual disabilities (not-for-profit agency). Installed rubber matting made from recycled tire material on a ramp as a safety precaution for individuals with limited mobility. Inglis & District Community Club INGLIS SKATING RINK RENOVATION PROJECT Installed rubber mats made from recycled tire material as flooring in the lobby of the skating rink as part of the expansion of the rink including new dressing rooms, showers, and washrooms. Gordon Bell High School, Winnipeg GORDON BELL GREENSPACE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT Used crumb rubber with a newly installed Astro Turf field. Churchill High School, Winnipeg CC/CHS TRACK AND IRRIGATION PROJECT Surfaced new oval running track with rubberized asphalt and field irrigation. Town of Niverville ARENA FLOORING PROJECT Replaced arena flooring with recycled tire matting in the lobby, dressing rooms, and washrooms.

10 Carman and Community Active Living Centre, Inc. OUTDOOR FITNESS EQUIPMENT PARK PROJECT Installed pour-in-place as a base for the outdoor workout equipment area. Kiddie Kampus Inc., Winnipeg PLAYGROUND TILES IMPROVEMENT PROJECT Resurfaced the playground with rubber soft tiles and sidewalk blocks. Lundar Day Care, Inc. PLAYGROUND SURFACE RENOVATIONS PROJECT Resurfaced the playground with recycled tire material (rubber mulch). Robert A. Steen Memorial Community Centre, Winnipeg RUBBER PATH WAY TO RINKS PROJECT Installed rubber flooring from the front doors of the community centre to both of the hockey rinks Community Grants: Stars of Promise Inc. - This East Kildonan daycare received funding to replace their crumb rubber playground surface installed by the former Tire Stewardship Board with a new pour-inplace surface that uses fine mesh crumb rubber and resin mix to produce a durable and safe landing area for children in playgrounds. Town of Powerview - Pine Falls - The town located in eastern Manitoba on the Winnipeg River received funding for a sidewalk resurfaced project using recycled rubber pads made from Manitoba tires to ensure their residents have safe durable walkways year round. Skylight Complex - This East St. Paul community recreation center received funding to use crumb rubber for an indoor artificial turf field that benefits area youth and sports teams. University of Manitoba Campus Daycare Centre received funding for a pour-in-place rubber safety surface project to ensure a safer playground for the children under their care.

11 2010 Community Grants: Village of Dunnottar Rubber Sidewalk - The Village of Dunnottar replaced crumbling and broken concrete sidewalks with rubber sidewalk panels as the concrete pads could not withstand the weight of septic trucks where they access holding tanks on a weekly basis. The rubber sidewalk panels provide an easy installation, repositioning and maintenance alternative for the community located on the west shore of Lake Winnipeg. Elmwood High School Track Upgrade - 30 years after the extension of the adjacent street left the school s former track unusable and in disrepair, a new five-lane 400-metre asphalt rubber mix track was constructed at Elmwood High School with the support of the TSM community grants program. Over one thousand Manitoba tires were processed to produce the 7.28 tonnes of crumb rubber used in the track to offer a safe, accessible and durable surface for the school s track and field program. Fort Garry Lions Football Club - The Fort Garry Lions Football Club received support from TSM to upgrade their football field s sideline drainage by installed crumb rubber tire-derived aggregate in the players bench area.
