Pursuant to Ontario Regulation 166/06, as amended, written permission from the Authority is required for: a) straightening, changing, diverting or interfering in any way with the existing channel of a river, creek, stream or watercourse, or for changing or interfering in any way with a wetland; 547

4 b) development, if in the opinion of the authority, the control of flooding, erosion, dynamic beaches or pollution or the conservation of land may be affected by the development. To temporarily or permanently place, dump or remove any material, originating on the site or elsewhere, and alter a watercourse located south of the end of Keele Street and Lavender Road, in the City of Toronto (Etobicoke York Community Council Area), Humber River Watershed as located on the road allowance owned by City of Toronto. The purpose is to carry out works to temporarily cover and prevent further erosion and exposure of a 30" gas pipeline along Lavender Creek. Works will involve the placement of pea gravel filled metre bags along the length of the exposed gas pipeline. Through review of the information provided and identified in the Summary of Plans section, TRCA is of the opinion that the project and implementation as proposed will not cause serious harm to fish. 7 CITY OF BRAMPTON CITY OF BRAMPTON - Humber River Watershed The purpose is to remove sediments and install a new hickenbottom structure at the outlet of Farad pond, in the City of Brampton. The Redside Dace Fisheries timing window will be applied to this project unless otherwise specified in writing by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF). Through review of the information provided and identified in the Summary of Plans section, TRCA is of the opinion that the project and implementation as proposed will not cause serious harm to fish. 8 CITY OF MARKHAM CITY OF MARKHAM - Don River Watershed The purpose is to undertake rehabilitation works at an outfall structure at Pinevale Road, near Almond Avenue, in the City of Markham. The proposed works include replacing the existing headwall, cutting and removing 3.9 m of the outfall pipe, lining the outlet and the slope with vegetated rip rap and restoring the site with live stakes, shrubs and trees. The cold-water fisheries timing window will apply to this project unless otherwise specified in writing by Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF). The permission of routine infrastructure works is subject to authorization by the Director, Planning and Development and signed by an appointed enforcement officer. All routine infrastructure works are located within a Regulated Area, generally within or adjacent to the hazard or natural feature and in the opinion of staff do not affect the control of flooding, erosion, dynamic beaches, pollution or the conservation of land. CITY OF MARKHAM BELL CANADA To undertake sewer, watermain or utility installation or maintenance within an existing roadway on Allstate Parkway, north of Highway 7, in the City of Markham, Rouge River Watershed as located on the property owned by the City of Markham. The purpose is to relocate Bell Canada's existing conduit by lowering within the right of way of Allstate Parkway, north of Highway 7 in City of Markham. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) redside dace timing window will be applicable to this proposal unless otherwise specified in writing by MNRF.
