5 2. Genera Information The Thermo shaker PHMP / PHMP-4 is designed for shaking 1 to 4 standard 96-we pates in the therma reguation mode. The Thermo shaker was designed using the muti-system principe, which aows using it as three independent devices: 1) incubator for asting incubation of micro quantities (insect, pant ce cutures, etc.) in pates; 2) pate shaker for operation in the cod room or other conditions, which do not require temperature stabiization; 3) micropate thermo-shaker for immunochemistry and moecuar diagnostics, where the requirements to the resut reproducibiity and thus to the precise method reguation are particuary high. The Thermo shaker PHMP / PHMP-4 provides: soft or intensive sampe shaking; rotation speed reguation, stabiization and indication; even shaking ampitude throughout Shaker-Thermostat patform; required operation time setting and indication; automatic stopping of the patform movement after the set time expires; current operation time indication; setting and indication of the required temperature. The device can be used in: cytochemistry for in situ reactions; immunochemistry for immunofermentative reactions; biochemistry for enzyme and protein anaysis; moecuar bioogy for matrix anaysis, DNA and RNA anayses. The maximum guaranteed number of diagnostic cyces in the Thermo Shaker mode, which require min work in one cyce, is times. Externa 12V power suppy unit is used to power the device. It makes it safe to work in the cod room, where condensation may cause eakage current from eectric circuit. Page 5
