9 Cyces-EL4030V Reguar cyces The reguar cydes describe the types of bads they are designed to dry. Each cyde is foowed by a 5 minute m-down period. During the coo down, the bad tumbes without heat. This heps make the bad easier to hande. Use EX HEAVY to dry items such as bedspreads, mattress pads and quits. Use HEAVY to dry such kerns as towes, jeans, corduroys and work cothes. Use MED to dry items such as sheets, pibwcases, cotton underwear and diapers. Use LIGHT to dry batistes, organdies and ingerie. For the first few bads, set the Cyce Contro Knob to point to a ine at a cyde in SPECfAL DRY. When the dryer stops, fee the drbd items. If the items are drier than you ike, set the Cyce Contro Knob more to the right the next time you dry a simiar oad. ff the items are not as dry as you ike, set the Cyce Contro Knob more to the eft the next time you dry a simiar bad. NOTE: Overdrying can cause shrinkage, static cing and damage to some fabrics. The PERMANENT PRESS cyce The PERMANENT PRESS cyce heps provide the specia care that permanent press and synthetic fabrics need. The cyce consists of a timed period of heated drying and a 10 minute coodown period. During the coo down, the bad tumbes without heat. This heps keep wrinkes from setting and makes the bad easier to hande. NOTE: To hep reduce wrinking, remove the bad from the dryer as soon as tumbing stops. This is important for permanent press, knits and synthetic fabrics. and GL403OV Cyces=EL503OV, GL503OV, EL6050V and GL605OV The automatic cyces The automatic cydes et you seect the degree of dryness you want. A thermostat senses the air temperature and automaticay shuts the dryer off when the seected dryness is reached. Use AUTO-SENSE HEAVY to dry heavy and mediumweight cotton items. The bad tumbes without heat during the ast 5 minutes. This heps make the bad easier to hande.

10 Use AUTO-SENSE PERMANENT PRESS to dry permanent press, knits and other synthetic items. The bad tumbfes w&out heat during the ast 10 minutes. This heps keep wrinkes from setting in and makes the bad easier to hande. For the first few bads, set the Cyce Contro Knob to point to NORMAL DRY in either auto matb cyce. When the dryer stops, fee the dried items. f the items are drier than you ike, set the Cyce Contro Knob more to the right of NORMAL DRY the next time you dry a simiar bad. tf items are not as dry as you ike, set the Cyce Contro Knob more to the eft of NORMAL DRY the next time you dry a simiar bad. NOTE: Overdrying can cause shrinkage, static cing and damage to some fabrics. EL6MOV d GL6OSOV TIMED DRY Use the TIMED DRY cyce for any bad you want to dry by time. Turn the Cyce Contro Knob to the number of minutes you want from 10 to 60 or 70. The ast 5 minutes of this cyce are without heat to hep make the bad easier to hande. ELSOWV d GL503OV Using WRINKLE FREE The WRINKLE FREE setting removes wrinkes from cbthing that has been packed in a suitcaee or coset. and from items not removed from the dryer at the end of a cyde. 1. Set the Cyce Contro Knob on WRINKLE FREE. 2. Set the Temperature Seector on KNfTS LOW or KNfTS DELICATE LOW. 3. Push the Start Button. The bad wi tumbe in heated air for 15 minutes. Then the dryer wi tumbe the cothes for 5 more minutes without heat. For best resuts, put ony a few items at a time in this cyce. As scbn as the dryer stops, put the items on hangers or fob them. 10 ELWiOV d GL6OSOV

11 Using DAMP DRY Use this setting to damp dry hems that do not require an entire drying cyce, or to dry items to damp eve. (Two exampes are heavy cottons, such as jeans, which you do not want to become stiff, or cotton cothes which are easier to press when damp.) 1. Set the Cyce Contro Knob on DAMP DRY. 2 Push the Start Button. The bad wi tumbfe in heated eir for 20 minutes, then without heat for 10 minutes. The NO HEAT FLUFF cyce or setting The dryer does not heat when the Temperature Seector is turned to NO HEAT FLUFF (EL403OV, GL403OV. ELXXMV and GLSO3OV), or the Cyce Contro Knob is turned to NO HEAT/FLUFF (EL6050V and GL6050V). NO HEAT FLUFF can be used to fuff or air dry bedding, pastic tabbcbths. foam rubber piows. stuffed toys, sneakers, etc. For modes EL4030V and GL403OV Turn the Temperature Seector to NO HEAT FLUFF and the Cyce Contro Knob to the number af minutes you want in the PERMANENT PRESS cyce. Then push the Start Button. NOTE: Repeat above steps if more time is needed.

12 For modes EL5030V and GL503OV Turn the Temperature Seedor to NO HEAT FLUFF and the Cyce Contro Knob to the number of minutes you want in the TfMED DRY cyde. Then push the Start Button. NOTE: Repeat above steps if more time is needed. EL503OV and GUO3OV For modes EL6050V and GL605OV Turn the Cyce Contro Knob to the desired minutes you want in the NO HEAT/FLUFF cyce. Then push the Start Button. NOTE: Repeat above steps if more time is needed. ELWSOV md GLWWV End-of-cyce signa For modes EL6050V and GL605OV The dryer sounds a signa to et you know when the cyce is finished. The signa cannot be turned off and is not adjustabe. The signa is hepfu when you are drying permanent press, synthetics and other items that shoud be taken out as soon as the dryer stops. 3 Gente Heat system For modes EL6050V and GL605OV For better fabric care, the Gente Heat system heps prevent overdrying. Drying temperatures are automaticay reduced to a ower heat setting during the ast few minutes of drying. Gente Heat is foowed by a coo-down perii in a cyces to make your cothes easier to hande. 9 / 5 \ =- 12
