1 1. Lake Management: Riverwood CDD Severn Trent Services Field Management Report Site Inspection September 2, 2015 a. Lake Maintenance: All the ponds are high from seasonal rains. Gator Lake #20 Lake #21 Plecos Lake #22 Gator Lake #23 Lake #24 Lake #25 Lake #26 Lake #29 Lake #30 Lake #34 Lake #36 Lake #37 Reclaim Recently planted with aquatic vegetation; floating trash removed, fountain working, recently planted sod needs to be water, this area should be maintained by the landscape crew. Balsa apples and other exotics should be sprayed or hand removed. b. Algae: Chara topping out in Lake 11 c. Littorals: Recently littorals planted along the bank of Lake 29. Plantings will allow for water quality benefit, seed source, and once plants become establish and spread, plantings can be harvested. arvested plants can be planted, along shorelines, after stabilization is finalized, or plants can be planted in other areas of the property to fill voids. d. Submerged: No outstanding issues. e. Grass Clippings: Lake 4 had minimal clippings. f. Landscape Vegetation Debris: No issue of landscape debris in ponds. g. Fish: Seeing more plecos along lakebank edge at Lake 21. h. Trash in Lakes: Minimum to none. Trash was removed. i. Shoreline Landscaping: No issues. j. Bulkheads: Lake 10 Bulkhead failure. Golf Course staff has put in a temporary fix. Artistic Structures supplied needed equipment. e will also come to property to review the issue. k. Fish Barrier: No issues observed. l. Control Structures: No issues. m. Fountains: Both Working n. Bridge: Bridge on golf course near the Stonebridge Neighborhood, aesthetic rocks are loose and continue to be laid/mounded on bridge structure. Lake 12. Photo follows. o. 4 Lake 29, Recent Plantings along South bank and part of the North bank Lake 19 & Preserve M Before Photos, The majority of the overgrowth is gone. There are a few branches that could not be removed, due to the high water. 2. Preserves: Water levels within the preserve area are high due to seasonal rain events. Will provide seed source and once plants have spread and filled in open areas some of the plants can be harvested and used for pond bank stabilization program. Planting recommended by the Boylan Environmental Preserve Compliance Report, which is used as an overall plan to determine areas that need maintenance. N * O *Completed-Cut, chemically stump treat and remove all exotic invasive trees. Chemically treat all other exotic invasive plants in place including the Bischopia Tree; Total Acreage Approximately 1.27; Per the Boylan Report 25% covered in exotics, Brazilian Pepper, Carrotwood, emp Vine, Yellow Nutsedge, White Vine; the exotic trees were large mature trees; Contractor: AWC. Current condition: lots of Willows, lots of dead debris from prior cut and leave method; have asked AWC to provide price for removal of Willows along bank and removal of dead material. The Boylan report also states, Additional native plantings are highly recommended after the next scheduled exotics treatment and removal. P *Alligator moving from Lake 22 & 23 is crushing some of the newly recent plantings. Q * R *Completed-Cut exotic trees into small 3 foot sections and stack in the interior of preserves, chemically treat exotic invasive trees stumps and chemically kill in place all other exotic invasive plants. Remove exotics within 100 feet property owners side of preserve boundary. Contractor: AWC. Total Acreage Approximately 3.81; Per the Boylan report, treat for exotic and nuisance species. The report does not indicate an amount for exotics. S * T * U * V * W * AA *, AA-4 Palm Tree Cut and Rolled into Preserve BB *BB1 & BB2. Completed. One time removal of all exotic invasive trees & plants. Contractor: AWC. Per Boylan report, Acreage Approximately 1.95; Per the Boylan report, treat for exotics. Brazilian Pepper 15% with 5% Primrose Willow. *Preserve 2 nd quarter work should be completed in April, May, and June with the report due in July. The July 2015 report has been submitted. This table was requested by the Environmental Committee. A place holder (*) will be included in this report monthly indicated the regular maintenance activities and when the report is due. Any specifics will be reported for the individual preserve monthly. 5

6 Preserve M, New Plantings 3. Facilities: Pool & Pool Area: 1. Swimming pool has cracks decking and wall. Photo follows 2. New Coke Machine recently delivered. Photo follows Pumps, Pool Restroom, 12 Pool Lights: Pavilion: No new issues. Activity Center: Mold remediation completed, verification on remediation completed, per inspector s remediation results are good. Report forthcoming from inspector. 6

7 Table delivered with missing parts. Vendor has been contacted. Ice machine in mechanical room moved to Tike bar, and plumber and electrician schedule to install needed items to get machine running. Also, Grand Air will sanitized. Community Center: No new issues. Pool Pavers: No new issues. Signage: No new issues. Fencing Area: No new issues. Fence off Riverwood Dr repaired. Tennis Fence repair scheduled for 9/9/2015. Fence installation at maintenance area still needs to be completed Riverwood Dr, Repair Completed Tennis Courts, Repair Schedule 9/9 4. Sports Courts: a. Tennis Courts: No new issues. Comments regarding fence damage in prior, Fencing Area, of report. b. Bocce Courts, Croquet Field, Basketball Court, orseshoe Pits: No new issues. 5. Kids Playground: No new issues. 6. Dog Park & Perimeter Fence: No new issues. 7. Roadways including Asphalt, Signage/Landscaping, Common Grounds: Roadways: Construction Sign has been installed, communication efforts have started, Bob and Brad, as of September 04, 2015, have been put out approx door hangers. 7

Storm Drainage System: Broken Grate at CS between The Reserve and Silver Lakes neighborhood on the Reserve side near sidewalk. Approximate: Lat/Long 26 58'23.22"N, 82 13'1.44"W. 9. Irrigation System: No new issues. 10. RV Parking Lot: Observed Brazilian Pepper hedge along parking lot being cut on 9/2/2015. Vendor also completed the weed whacking per the maintenance agreement. This area would look better in appearance, if this was done by mower. Will contact vendor to ask how much it would cost to mow instead. 8

9 11. WWTP and Golf Course Maintenance: No new issues. 12. Landscape: There are areas throughout Riverwood that are not being maintained. These areas need to be reviewed to determine who should routinely manage. a) Lake 29 recently removed large Brazilian Pepper (BP) and added sod. The BP was removed to open up surface water area, in addition, this open up common area. The area now needs to be maintained by the landscape vendor. Photo follows. b) Area along Club Drive had BP removed and is now planted. This area needs to be maintain by the landscape vendor. Photo follows. c) Vegetation should be cut back away from structures. Photos follow. Lake 29 Area along Club Dr., BP and other exotics are taking over the landscape plants. 9

Tennis Court repair and fence along RW Drive are taking priority because they are more visible, and also the tennis court is unusable at this time. Once those are completed, then this will be done. Complete. Dirt was graded out to grad level. sent to RCA to ask them to communicate to vendors that the area must be kept clean, if they have items or debris piles of any type it will be removed. To avoid this any materials in the area can be marked, so we can contact them, if there are any questions. Flagged FPL down, while they were in the area. They said it was okay to treat areas with herbicide. Next step--tbd who should do work. No action. Items Completed: Remove vegetation overhanging berm and surface of lake 19, R&M of Lakes Remove "For Sale" signs (entrance)-per request of Supervisor Campbell Relocate ice machine-due to Mold Remediation Project No action This will be added to the list being compiled. After Brazilian Pepper is cut back off of Willow Glen and Riverwood Dr (entrance) area. There are two more control structures that need to be inspected and then maintained. The grate on Willow Glen needs to be lifted and then replaced. Asked vendor to provide a price difference to add mowing versus weed whacking. In Process.
