From September, the Liège University Faculty of Architecture will make available to visitors the results of an historical and architectural survey of the building, proposing options for a change of use.

2 The auction will be held on Thursday, 25 October 2018 at 2 pm (in principle, it will be conducted in a single session) at the Notarie s House in Liège (rue Saint-Rémy 2). Participants are required to present, at the auction, a bank / certified cheque or a bank warranty of 100, in accordance with terms obtainable from the notary. The buyer will not be able to take possession of the property until the full purchase price has been paid, together with the associated costs; however, possession cannot be granted before February 1st 2019 at the earliest. 2. Location and Land Registry details Construction of the present National Bank of Belgium building in Liège, inaugurated in 1968, began in 1924 on the site of several buildings and land bordering Rue Hazinelle and Place Saint-Paul. Official address: Place Saint-Paul , 4000 Liège. The property is recorded in the Land Registry as: Liège Division 3, Section A, plots 1352 L P0000 with an area of 29 a 26 ca. Cadastral income 148, Indexed C.I. (2017) 260, Property tax (2017) 157,393.17

3 3. Planning details The planning information will be available at the time of visiting the building. Various building permits plus authorisations concerning drainage and pavements were granted for the property between 1924 and Those permits can be consulted at the notary s office. The Bank holds environmental permit n 16816/ for the operation of a garage for 35 vehicles, a 400 kva transformer, a 40,000 litre stock of heating oil (tanks have since been evacuated) and two cooling units with a capacity of 22.3 and 32 kw, valid until 20 October The Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) for the apartments will be available at the notary s office. In addition, an energy audit was conducted in 2011, and a copy can be consulted at the notary s office. The electrical installation was approved on 20 February The 2015 inventory of materials containing asbestos can also be consulted at the notary s office. The National Bank declares that it has not conducted any polluting activities on the site. 4. Access The branch is in a very convenient location with easy access both on foot and by bicycle, public transport or car : 2 km from Liège-Guillemins station and 800 m from Jonfosse station ; 100 m from the bus stops of the main TEC routes serving the city ; 1.2 km from the A602 and 7 km from the Loncin interchange ; it has 21 parking spaces in the basement car park, a covered inner courtyard with space for 10 vehicles and a private garage alongside.

9 Thanks to the solid materials used in its construction, this bank branch with its reinforced vaults is a very secure building. All entrances to the building are protected by airlocks (double armoured doors), and readily accessible windows are fitted with strong grilles.
