3 December 22, 2017 Attention: Reference: Subject: David Martin Ralph Williams Elementary HVAC Renovations GMP Proposal Dear David, We respectfully submit the attached GMP for the 2018 Ralph Williams HVAC Renovations. From the design documents we propose the following: 1. Facility Renewal a. Fire alarm Renewal i. Replacement of fire alarm system. ii. Only devices shown on plans to be replaced. b. Central Mechanical plant i. Replacement of (2) Air cooled Chillers ii. Replacement of (4) Circulation pumps, (1) Expansion Tank, (1) Air/Dirt Separator, piping and insulation. iii. Ice manifold to remain but insulation to be replaced. iv. Replace Flexible connections to Ice Storage Tanks. v. Supply and Install (2) new VFD s for CHWP 1 and 2. vi. New CALMAC Ice storage meter vii. Flush and treat new piping in chiller plant. c. Cooling and Heating Control System i. BAS replacement ii. Replacement of temperature and Humidity sensors, control panels, CHW control valves, and integration with SBBC controls. d. Air Conditioning and Air Distribution Equipment Renewal i. Rework Duct work on Mezzanine level to AHU-6 and AHU-5. ii. Provide RA ductwork for rooms 103,107, 200 and transfer ducts for wing 300 and wing 400. iii. Install new CV on AHU s 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, & 7. iv. Install new Mini Split system to room 115C (IT Room). v. Replace 6 exhaust fans. vi. Remove and replace ACT as needed for equipment replacement. vii. New GPS air purification to be added to AHU s. viii. Add VFD s for AHU-3 and AHU-5 e. Roofing Renewal i. Replace Fascia on North and South Sides of Building 1. ii. Pressure wash roof of building 1. f. Exterior Building Wall Finish System Renewal. i. HVAC, Unit Ventilators, Fan Coil Units, Mini Splits and all work associated, including Test and Balance are excluded unless noted above. 9. Extended warranty on chiller excluded. 10.
