Green Streets are streets that have green elements n them, such as trees, planted areas, biswales, bike facilities, multi-use paths, and peple-friendly street recnfiguratin. These streets help treat strmwater, shade the pedestrian, use envirnmentally-friendly fixtures and designs, and/r encurage active transprtatin, including biking, walking and transit-use. Green Street Treatment Examples Can include back f curb rain gardens, parkway biswales, dedicated bike/pedestrian pathways, and landscaped medians with r withut biswales.
