Never clean the appliance parts with flammable fluids, as the fumes can create a fire hazard r explsin.

Shck Hazard Electrical Grunding Required Imprper use f the grunded plug can result in electrical shck. If the pwer crd appears t be damaged, have it replaced by an authrized service center. This cler shuld be prperly grunded fr yur safety, and in rder t minimize the pssibility f electrical shck, the pwer crd f this unit is equipped with a 3-pin plug which fits 3-pin wall utlets. Never cut r remve the grund wire frm the supplied pwer crd. The use f an extensin crd is nt recmmended. The crd shuld be secured behind the cler. 6 Befre installatin, attach the handle t the frnt f the unit with the included screws. It may be necessary t push aside the rubber seal n the inside f the dr t reveal the screw hles. Cautin: Avid ver-tightening the screws, r yu may cause damage t the unit. 6 INSTALLATION This cler is freestanding unit and shuld nt be installed inside a cabinet r ther built-in enclsure. Fr prper ventilatin, allw 5 inches clearance between the back f the unit and any adjacent walls. Befre perating yur wine cler fr the first time, fllw these steps: Befre cnnecting the unit t a pwer surce, allw it t stand upright fr apprximately 2 hurs. This will reduce the pssibility f any system malfunctins which may have ccurred frm handling during transprtatin. Clean the interir surface f the unit with lukewarm water and a sft clth. Place the cler n a level surface that will be strng enugh t supprt the unit when it is fully laded. T level yur cler, adjust the frnt feet lcated at the bttm f the unit. Install the cler away frm direct sunlight and heat surces such as stves, heaters, r radiatrs. Direct sunlight may affect the unit s acrylic cating, and nearby heat surces can increase electrical cnsumptin. Extreme cld r ht ambient temperatures may als prevent prper perfrmance. Please nte: this cler is nly designed fr hme use, and is nt designed t be placed in a garage, basement, r utdr area. FACTORY ODOR REMOVAL Wash the interir f the cler with a mild detergent and warm water. Leave the dr pen and allw it t air dry thrughly. If a plastic smell persists, place a dish f baking sda in the unit r stuff the cler with newspapers

7 vernight. When finished, let the unit run a full day t cmplete the airing ut prcess. DRAWER SET-UP The drawers and shelves included with this cler are designed t sit flush with the frnt edge f the cabinet. This will allw air t circulate freely thrugh the unit. When inserting the drawers and shelves, avid pushing them all the way against the rear wall f the cabinet. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 7 OPERATING ENVIRONMENT It is recmmended that the wine cler be installed in an area where the ambient temperature is between F (10-26 C). If the ambient temperature is abve r belw the recmmended ranges, the unit s perfrmance may be affected, and extreme cld r ht cnditins may cause the interir temperature t fluctuate. This will prevent the ptimal range f F (10-16 C) frm being reached. In additin, keep in mind that the temperature may fluctuate depending n whether the interir light is n r ff, and whether the bttles are lcated n the upper, middle, r lwer racks. HOW TO USE THE BUTTONS ON THE DISPLAY PANEL scale. Select Centigrade r Fahrenheit temperature Raise the desired temperatures.* Turn the light n and ff. Lwer the desired temperature. *

8 * The interir temperature can be adjusted in increments f 1 degree between 54 and 66 F (10-18 C). CLEANING & MAINTENANCE 8 CLEANING YOUR COOLER T clean yur cler: Unplug the cler and remve anything inside. Wash the inside f the unit with a slutin made f warm water and baking sda slutin (2 tablespns f baking sda t ne quart f water). Unscrew the water reservir at the bttm f the unit and rinse with water. T clean the utside f the unit, use a mild detergent and warm water. MOVING YOUR COOLER T mve yur cler: Remve anything stred inside. Securely tape dwn all lse parts lcated inside the unit. Turn the leveling feet up t the base in rder t avid damage. Tape the dr shut. Be sure the cler stays in an upright psitin during transprtatin. CIGAR STORAGE GUIDE The ideal temperature fr string cigars is between 65 and 73 F. The ideal relative humidity (RH) fr string cigars is between 65% and 75% RH. T prperly mnitr and maintain RH in the CC-280E, yu will need t add a hygrmeter (humidity gauge) and sme variety f humidifier t the cler. Keep cigars ut f direct sunlight, t avid expsure t damaging UV rays. It is recmmended t keep cigars in their riginal bxes and packaging as lng as pssible. Keep unwrapped cigars separate in yur cler t avid unwanted mingling f flavrs.

9 9 Check cigars regularly fr signs f tbacc beetles and mld, and take preventative measures if necessary. Prperly stred cigars can imprve with age fr as lng as 5-10 years, and can be kept even lnger in ideal cnditins. TROUBLESHOOTING Prblem Pssible Causes Slutin The cler will nt perate. The unit may be plugged in using a different vltage. Check if using the wrng vltage. The cler is nt cld enugh. The light des nt wrk. The circuit breaker may be tripped r there is a blwn fuse. The external envirnment may require a higher setting. The dr may be pened t frequently. The dr is nt clsed cmpletely. The dr seal des nt seal prperly. The wine cler des nt have sufficient clearance. There may be a prblem with the display bard. Reset the circuit breaker r check fr a brken fuse. Lwer the temperature f the cler. Open the dr less frequently. Make sure the dr is clsed securely. Replace the seal n the dr. Replacements can be acquired frm the Make sure there is at least 5 inches clearance between the back f the unit and any adjacent walls. Cntact the
