2 SELF-CLEANING CHECKLIST (Optin 1) INTERIOR Cabinets/Drawers: Cabinets must be free f any fd particles, grease, spts, and watermarks. Remve all shelf liner (if used) Wipe dwn exterir cabinets and drawers Cuntertps: Cuntertps shall be cleaned and dirt buildup is t be remved. After cleaning, d nt leave a visible r tuchable sap residue frm cleansers. Either rinse thrughly r use a granite cleaner t finish. Sink/Faucet: Sinks and faucets are t be cleaned f all marks, sap film, stains, mineral depsits and water spts. Yu may need t use a sft bristle brush t clean the hard t reach areas arund the faucet and knbs. D nt use drain cleaners. Clean thrughly and leave spt free Clean all accessries such as sink stppers, garbage dispsal, rubber gaskets, etc. Refrigeratr: Refrigeratrs will be thrughly cleaned inside and ut, t include all parts, trays and rubber gaskets. After defrsting and cleaning, the refrigeratr is t be left running with the thermstat set at the lwest setting and the dr clsed. Remve all marks, fd particles and stains, clean thrughly including shelves, crisper, butter cntainer, etc. Clean exterir, t include dr handles, dr gaskets, frnt, back and sides, cils and drip pans. Range/Oven: Remve all fd, grease, marks, etc. frm the burners, ven racks, briler drawers, cntrl knbs, ven, ven dr and briler pan/cver. Clean exterir and buff free f all marks, stains, grease and fd. Clean the flr under the range. Walls/Ceilings/Wdwrk/Basebards/Ledges and Drs: Fr difficult marks, a pwdered cleanser watered dwn and used lightly will aid in cleaning. Be sure t rinse ff film afterwards. All hangers and nails in wdwrk r wall surface will be remved. If a claw hammer must be used t pull the nail, a blck f wd placed between the head f the hammer and the surface frm which the nail is t be pulled with prevent wall damage. D nt fill nail hles. Remve all crayn marks, fingerprints, and cbwebs; scuff marks, sap film, grease, dirt and dust. All wdwrk shuld be cleaned and left in a dry cnditin. Cleaning instructins fr wdwrk is the same as fr the walls. All ledges ver drs, windws, clsets, cabinets and dr tps must be wiped clean with a damp clth t remve grease settlements and dust. Remve cbwebs frm crners f ceilings, including prches and patis, where applicable. Ceilings in kitchen and bathrms are t be wiped and free f grease, stains r residue.

3 Switch/Outlet Plates: Clean switch and utlet plates f any black marks, fingerprints, sils r grease. Light Fixtures/Ceiling Fans: All light fixtures and light bulbs (inside and utside f the hme) will be wiped clean, free frm dust, grease, sils and left streak free. Replace any light bulb that is burnt ut. Carpet/Flrs: All flring surfaces are t be cleaned. Clean all flrs including areas under the refrigeratr and stve, and inside the pantry. Use nly nn-waxed based flring cleaner, such as Prevail, n the hard flr surfaces. All stains must be remved frm the carpeted areas and hard flr surfaces. Bathrms: Bathtubs, sinks, cmmdes, cabinets, shwer drs and bathrm tiles must be clean f sap film, dirt, and marks. Drain stppers will be remved and cleaned. Clean and plish shwer walls, shwer drs, bathtubs, and cmmdes, remving all spts streaks, sap film and mildew. Remve all sils inside and ut f the vanity. Clean mirrr and leave streak-free Plumbing fixtures are t be left free f sap film, mildew, rust, lime depsits r water spts. Plish all plumbing fixtures Remve all hair and freign debris frm drain plugs. Clean the vent fan. Remve mld build-up by using mild bleach if applicable Clsets: Clsets, including hanger, shelves, and walls will be wiped clean with a damp clth. Remve all cbwebs: crayn marks, fingerprints, scuff marks and hanger marks. Clean clset rds, shelf tps and undersides. Drs are t be left free f marks, dirt, crayn, etc. Windw/Windw Cverings: All windws will be washed n bth sides. Windw and pati dr blinds will be left clean and hanging prperly. Clean all windws including windwsills and tracks. Clean windw inside and ut with n streaks (using newspaper instead f paper twels will leave fewer streaks). Remve all dust, grease and any freign substance frm the windw cverings. The blind slats must have a smth feel t them after they have been prperly cleaned. Heat/Air Cnditining Vents: Clean heat registers inside and ut.

4 EXTERIOR Windws and Screens: Clean all exterir windws and leave streak free. Remve all dust, sils and cbwebs frm screens. Pati & Screen Drs: Glass must be cleaned and left streak free Dr tracks must be free f any dirt r debris and cleaned thrughly. Threshld: Remve all black marks and sils Garage: Remve all persnal items Area is t be left free f sils, crayn marks, scuff marks, dirt, cbwebs, etc. Lawn/Flwer Beds/Outside Areas: Plice yard and remve all debris including trash, leaves, animal feces, etc. Sweep and remve all sils frm pati and walks. Lawns damaged by pets must be repaired. Prperly remve satellite dish, when applicable. Trash Can/Recycle Bins: Cntact Rumpke fr pick up. Keys/Remtes: Must return all assigned huse, mailbx keys and garage remtes. Residents will be held respnsible fr damage exceeding fair wear and tear. 5 CLEAN TEAM (Optin 2) Hearth Hme Cmmunities ffers its residents an ptin t use a Clean Team t clean the hme after mving ut. This charge is $100 and will be charged and due with last mnths rental payment befre the scheduled mve ut date. The Clean Team will clean the hme after mve ut but will nt remve trash r furniture. The Resident(s) is still respnsible fr the fllwing: General wipe dwn f all appliances, walls, cunters, cabinets and flring is required. Oven shuld be cleaned by using the self-clean feature. Interir and exterir must be left trash free and all persnal belngings remved prir t inspectin. All crayn marks, slid, grease, dirt, dust, nails, tape and any ther freign bjects must be remved frm the walls, ceilings, clsets, windw ledges, basebards and pantry thrughut the entire hme. This includes bth interir and exterir areas. Flrs are t be swept/vacuumed (including carpets). Cabinets and drawers in the kitchen and bathrms must be wiped ut and free frm any persnal belngings r trash. All screens are t be free f dust and sils. Garages: All persnal items remved and areas free f all sils and autmtive fluids. Lawn must be left trash free and all animal feces remved. NOTE: AS A SAFETLY PRECAUTION, TURN OFF ALL CIRCUIT BREAKERS BEFORE CLEANING APPLIANCES. Excessive damage will be assessed during the final inspectin. If the ccupant caused the damages, a fee will be charged and must be paid in full by cashiers check, mney rder prir t vacating.
