The cker may be lcated in a kitchen, r a bedrm, but nt in a rm cntaining a bath r shwer. The cker must nt be installed in a bedrm f less than 20m³ in size. The cker is fitted with fur feet that can be adjusted t match the height f yur kitchen cabinets. If the cker is nt level r is unstable due t an uneven flr surface, use the adjustable feet t alter each crner until the cker is level. Ventilatin requirements The rm cntaining the appliance shuld have an air supply in accrdance with BS 5440: Part 2. Fr rm vlumes up t 5m³ an air vent f 100cm² is required. If the rm has a dr that pens directly t the utside, r the rm exceeds 10m³ n air vent is required. Fr rm vlumes between 5m³ and 10m³ an air vent f 50cm² is required. 25

26 Safety chain anchrs In rder t eliminate the risk f the ven falling frward, tw chains have been installed at the rear f the cker. Befre use, these will need t be fastened securely t the wall behind the appliance with the anchr brackets supplied. Decide n a suitable wall lcatin fr fitting the anchr brackets directly behind each cker safety chain. Hld the chain anchr up t the wall where it will be required and mark the fixing hles. Drill the fixing hles and fix the chain anchrs t the wall using the screws prvided and suitable wall plugs fr the type f wall being fixed t. Leave the chains unattached until the installatin prcess has been cmpleted. 26

27 Securing the safety chains Befre securing the safety chains, check that yu have cmpleted the installatin prcess and that all cnnectins have been made successfully and that the cker is in its final perating psitin. T fix the security chains t their anchr brackets: Unscrew the hex nut at the unattached end f the safety chain. Insert the screw upwards int the tp hle f the anchr bracket. When the screw is fully inserted in the bracket, tighten the hex nut t secure the end chain link int psitin. 27
