4 CITIZEN BOND OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE Meeting Minutes of August 3, 006 Call to order by: John Moore(CBOC Chairman) Time called to order 6:35 PM The following were in attendance: 4 Visitors 6 CBOC Members 3 District Member Ricardo Reyes (SGI) Sara Przemielewski Alan Garofalo Debby Nohelty (SGI) John Moore Bill Jakel Jaime Ortiz (SGI) Margaret Guerra John Duran Rueben Dominguez Dennis Umphress John Sellarole Bud LoMonaco Meeting adjourned by: John Moore (CBOC Chairman) Time of adjournment: 7:5 PM Next CBOC meeting date was scheduled for Wednesday, November 8, 006 at 6:30 PM Public There were no members of the public in attendance. John Moore moved to the next item on the agenda. Review and Approve Meeting Minutes of May, 006 The committee members present had no proposed changes for the 5//06 meeting minutes. Old Business John asked if there has been any interaction with CBOC members and their adopted schools. Sara hasn t had a chance to meet with anyone at Overfelt and said that things have been pretty quiet there. Ruben Dominguez reported on Yerba Buena. There are still some things being done to the science building, overall the school looks good. Page of

5 John Sellarole reported that he was at Independence quite a bit over the summer and that there is a lot going on at the campus and everything looks good. John Moore reported that bleachers at Santa Teresa for both home and visiting teams are complete. The first round of funding was exhausted for streetscape, field renovations and technology upgrades. The school is in the planning stage for the next round of funding. Margaret Guerra spoke with the coach at Oak Grove. Graduation was held on the football field and everyone was happy about that. Things are progressing well and the staff is happy with the movement at the school. Overview of Measure G Project Ricardo Reyes went through a list of the new buildings that have started over the summer. New Business John Moore informed the committee that his report to the Board of Trustees has been moved to the August 4, 006 meeting. The remaining term appointment for all committee members was discussed. John asked if it was possible to extend terms for those would like to remain on the committee. Alan Garofalo said it is up to the Board of Trustees to make that decision. He also recommended that Rueben Dominguez send in a letter of interest to serve in Susie Rivera s place. All remaining individuals recommend to the Board that their terms be continued. Dennis Umphress asked to have the legalities looked at as far as term limits and urged the other members to contact Alan or Ric and let them know if they want to serve another term. John Moore asked to have this brought up as an item under Old Business at the next meeting. Additional Items Dennis Umphress asked when the next meeting would be held. It is scheduled for November 8, 006 at 6:30pm. Page of
