MSDS/SDS are prvided with every chemical manufactured in the United States. MSDS/SDS cntain a lt f infrmatin. EHS can help yu interpret imprtant pints such as PPE, strage cnditins, hazardus prperties. Yu must review infrmatin frm an MSDS/SDS prir t wrking with any chemical. Yu must have quick access t MSDS/SDS fr chemicals yu are using. Yu can btain them frm the EHS website, the manufacturers website, r hard cpies kept in yur area What des the change mean fr yu? It means yu must becme familiar with the new universalized frmat. MSDS have n current required frmat but SDS will have a strict 16 categry frmat and rder. Researchers shuld begin updating MSDS libraries with SDS as they are received. Yu are nt required t change them all at ne time.
