9 Setting the Clck (cnt'd) Setting Cntinuus Bake r 12 Hur Energy Saving The ven cntrl has a factry preset built-in 12 Hur Energy Saving featurethat wiiishut ff the ven if the ven cntrl is left n fr mre than 11 hurs and 59 minutes. The ven can be prgrammedt verride this feature fr Cntinuus Baking. T set the cntrl fr Cntinuus Bake r 12 Hur Energy Saving features Tiller 2 1. Press and hld the/i_' buttn fr 6 secnds. The display will shw either"12h" (fr 12 hur maximum cking time) r "-h" (fr cntinuus cking). 2. Press the _ r/_ buttn t switch between the 12 hur and 24 hurs cntinuus cking mde. 3. Wait 6 secnds t accept the change. Setting the Timer The Timer serves as an extra timer in the kitchen that will beep when the set time has run ut. it can be set in1 minute increments up t 11:59 (11 hurs, 59 minutes), it des nt start r stp cking. The Kitchen Timer feature can be used during any f the ther ven cntrl functins, except the self=clean functin. T set the Kitchen Timer ii:!_iiii_i 1, Pressthe r buttn, n the buttn will start flashing. ThecntrU w,ube p, thedispuay w,ushw..."andthetimerindicatr lightlcated 2. Setting Oven Lckut Feature The Oven Lckut feature autmatically Icksthe ven dr and prevents the Oven frm being turned n. It des nt disable the clck, Kitchen Timer r the interir ven lights. T activate the Oven Lckut feature 0v,.,,Ugh Or,,, ught 1. Press and hld the r _ fr 3 secnds. 2. Allw 20 secnds fr the dr t lck. The icn will flash while the dr is lcking. T deactivate the Oven Lckut feature: 0w,, Light w. Lght 1. Press and hld the _ r fr 3 secnds. 2. Allw 20 secnds fr the dr t unlck. The icn will flash while the dr is unlcking, After 20 secnds the icn will disappear in the display, Setting Setting Oven Cntrls Bake The ven can be set t bake at any temperature frm 170 F t 550 F (The sample shwn is fr 350 F). Nte that the cnvectin fan will perate while the ven pre-heats. T set the Bake Temperature t 350 F 1. Arrange interir ven racks and place fd in ven. Figure 1 Figure2 2. Turn the selectr cntrl knb t Bake(Figure 1). 3. Turn the temperature cntrl knb t 35 (Figure 2). The temperature wiii appear briefly in the ven cntrl display, The display wiii beep indicating that the temprature is set, Then the temperature will disappear frm the display, 4. When baking is cmpleted, turn the temperature and the selectr cntrl knbs t Off psitin, NOTE : The temperature knb can be used t mdify the baking temperature while the ven is in bake mde, but the functin knb cannt be changed t anther functin withut turning it t Off first, An ERR cde wiii appear in the display if anther functin is selected withut turning t Off, NOTE : The cntrl will beep three times if the mde and temperature d nt match, The cntrl will beep nly nce if the mde and temperature d match, Bread Prf with temperature at 500 F (nt pssible, 3 beeps), 9 iilyii:_

11 Setting Oven Cntrls Setting Cnvectin Bake Use the Cnvectin Bake feature when fast cking is desired, The ven can be prgrammed fr Cnvectin baking at any temperature between 170 F and 550 F. Cnvectin baking uses a fan t circulate the ven's heat evenly and cntinuusly within the ven (See Figure 1). This imprved heat distributin allws fr fast, even cking and brwning results at a lwer temperature than cnventinal bake, It als gives better baking results when using 2 r 3 racks at the same time, Breads and pastries brwn mre evenly. Figure 1 Setting the Oven When using the Temperature Prbe: 1. Preheat the ven t the desired temperature. 2. Insert the Temperature Prbe int the fd (see Prper Temperature Prbe Placement abve). 3. After the ven has reached the desired temperature, place the fd int the ven. 4. The ven will be ht, s wear an ven mitt and plug the Temperature Prbe int its utlet in the ven. (The utlet is lcated n the left frnt side f the ven cavity ceiling). Make sure it is pushed all the way int the utlet. Clse the ven dr, 5. The ven cntrl will detect if the prbe is crrectly plugged in and will illuminate PROBE in the display. The display will start shwing the actual meat temperature shrtly after the prbe is inserted. 6. A target temperature must be set t trigger the buzzer when the fd is dne cking. Press the buttn t enter the temperature. Adjust temperature t the desired setting using the r buttns. The temperature setting will be accepted 5-8 secnds after it is entered. prbe 7. At any time during the cking, the buttn can be pressed t change the display between "ACTUAL" and "PROBE". The "ACTUAL" setting will give yu the current temperature f the fd. The "PROBE" setting will give yu the fd target temperature and it can be changed at any time during the cking (see abve fr explanatins). The prbe can be damaged by very high temperature.
